 Team  2 : Numerical modeling of hydraulic structures 
We are interested  firstly on numerical prediction of internal erosion phenomenon  « renard » which is still a dangerous failure mode and poorly understood and on the other hand the flow forces effect caused by the dewatering and emptying of dams. Themes in works: • Development and validation active and passive earth pressures simulation procedures • Flow Influence on retaining  structures • Numerical modeling of stratification effect on earth pressures in presence of flow • Estimation of flow and hydraulic gradient around the rectangular and circular cofferdams • Study of  hydromechanical coupling influence on the stability of geotechnical structures; • Auscultation and numerical analysis of grounds and concrete dams deformation.
